Growing up, everyone said I was the spitting image of my mother. When I became an adult, my family members’ opinions shifted and began informing me I look like the female version of my dad.
As for myself, I still don’t thing I hold a strong resemblance to either one of my parents, and I’m perplexed why my relatives are still so persistent on this particular belief – especially since there are a significant number of much more convincing lookalike children out there.
One prime example is Sam Fox, the 28-year-old son of actor Michael J. Fox.
Having been in the acting industry since 1997, we’ve seen Michael in popular movies and television shows such as Family Ties, Teen Wolf, Spin City, and Stuart Little.
Sadly, Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1992, but he has stayed optimistic about his health. He shared his diagnosis with the public in 1998 and has been a strong advocate for Parkinson’s disease research ever since. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure to the life-changing condition.
However, he isn’t letting the disease stop him from pursing his passion for acting. Having made guest appearances on hit shows like The Good Wife, Designated Survivor, and Rescue Me, he announced his next acting gig will be on Oval Office, which stars fellow Canadian Kiefer Sutherland.
“If 30 years ago these 2 Canadians knew they would be working in the Oval Office, they would have been on better behavior. Thanks Kiefer,” Michael wrote on Instagram.
They previously starred in the 1998 film Bright Lights, Big City, so it’ll be great to see if these two actors still have chemistry on the small screen.
While his four children haven’t followed their father’s footsteps, they’ve certainly taken after him in plenty of other ways, and we’re talking about their jaw-dropping appearance.
